Corujo Confirms 95% of Infections Are Local in Lanzarote

Corujo confirms that 95% of infections are local and that most are concentrated in Titerroy and Valterra

"The transmission at this time of the disease is local, without a doubt," said the president of the Cabildo, who has pointed to nightlife, family gatherings and places and centres of worship as the cause of the outbreaks

Thus, she has asked the population of these neighbourhoods to "exercise extreme caution."

Germany has now added The Canary Islands to the banned list and currently Lanzarote has 435 cases 02/08/20.
