The Teguise Police have removed from the main roads of Costa Teguise a total of 50 electric scooters that were offered for hire, failing to comply with current regulations regarding security and public Health.

They will be stored in the municipal warehouse, following the law that regulates the use of these scooters with the public on roads in the area.

Whenever it may constitute a danger or causes serious disturbances to pedestrians and traffic, or the offer of vehicle sales made by any unauthorised legal business is carried out with vehicles parked on the sidewalk, the police will proceed to immobilise and seize the items, explained the head of Local Teguise Police, Miguel Ángel Jiménez.
