Lanzarote and Gran Canaria exceeds the rate of 100 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants

In these islands, events of more than 10 people are prohibited, the closure of restaurants is brought forward at 00:00 and non-occupational day centres are closed

Lanzarote now has 383 active cases, most of them in Arrecife - 351. The rest of the positives are distributed as follows, Tías 12, Teguise 8, Yaiza 7, Tinajo 3 and San Bartolomé 2.

The new agreed measure establishes that in the islands that exceed 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the cumulative incidence of cases diagnosed in the last 7 days, mass events or acts will not be authorised, if they are of more than 10 people.

Likewise, in the hotel, restaurant and terrace establishments, as well as in beach bars and restaurants, the closing time is brought forward to 00:00 at the latest, with new clients not being admitted after 23:00 hours.

The mandatory use of masks must be worn throughout the workplace and at school.
