The Prime Minister announced that there will be a tourist season this summer , which is why he has called on Spaniards and foreign tourists to plan their vacations, with the aim of reviving the tourism sector, one of the hardest hit by the crisis.


He also assured that the Government will resume the entry of foreign tourists to Spain from July "in safety conditions," he said. "There will be a tourist season this summer, with the purpose of reviving national tourism, so I invite all establishments, bars, restaurants and all tourist destinations in the country to resume their activity," said the president.

Sánchez has appealed to the "fundamental role" that hospitality and tourism play in the entire economy of the country, to its contribution in job creation and "to its undoubted national and international prestige."

For this reason, he has guaranteed that there will be a tourist season this summer and that all tourist destinations in the country will be able to resume their activity "in the next few days" to begin welcoming Spaniards who are ready to enjoy their holidays.
