Over the weekend, up to 43 new cases have been counted, completing a total record of 99 cases throughout the island.
Although it has not been possible to determine the exact origin of these new infections, the good news is all of them are in home isolation with mild or asymptomatic symptoms.
The figure reached on Sunday is the highest record since the start of the pandemic last March.

This Sunday on the esplanade of Playa Chica (Puerto del Carmen) a local policeman gave 2 fines to 2 cars that were badly parked, but to the 2 cars parked at the entrance for ambulances and firefighters to the beach, nothing. A lot of people huddled in the dock without a mask, but nothing compared to the motor catamaran with more than 20 young people anchored in front celebrating a birthday, not complying with any rules. The responsibility is everyone's and the authorities first. PS none of the cars were mine.
