Tías Has The Highest Incidence of Covid

The incidence of Covid continues to decline in Lanzarote, although more and more slowly and with an uneven distribution by municipality. Currently in the lead is Tías, who has added 50 cases in the last 7 days and 100 in 14 days , according to reports from the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands. Its incidence thus stands at 242 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days, quite different from the rest of the municipalities.

The next one is Teguise , with a 7-day cumulative incidence of 176 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In total, Teguise has added 40 cases in the last week, worsening the data of the previous one, when it had registered 30.

San Bartolomé is next , with a cumulative incidence of 172 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and 356 in 14 days. This municipality has registered 33 cases in the last week and 68 in 14 days.

Behind, in fourth place, is Arrecife , with a 7-day cumulative incidence of 160 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The capital has registered 104 positives in the last week -11 of them notified this Monday- and 222 in two weeks , and is at high risk in this indicator along with Teguise, San Bartolomé and Tías.

Yaiza and Tinajo are at medium risk in incidence at 7 days , although at 14 days they are still at high risk. The southern municipality has added 6 infections in the last week and 21 in two weeks, and has a 7-day incidence of 123 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

As for Tinajo, its incidence at 7 days is 93.5, with a significant drop compared to the previous week. And it is that in the last 7 days it has added 6 cases and in the previous 7 14, making a total of 21 in two weeks.

The list is closed by Haría , which is currently already at low risk, according to the parameters established by Health. This municipality has added 2 cases in the last 7 days and 13 in two weeks, so its incidence has also plummeted. It is currently at 38 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days, while at 14 days it is still at 247, in this case at medium risk.
