The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, accompanied by the island councilor for Public Works, Alfredo Mendoza, made a visit to the Uga roundabout works on the LZ-30 road on Monday morning, coming from La Geria, in order to supervise the status of these actions and check the "advanced status" of the works.
During the visit, where the mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, was also present, they were able to learn about the status of some works "highly demanded by the citizens of the area, and the expected end date is in the second half of February."
The president stated that “the final result will improve traffic conditions, road safety and accessibility for residents. It is a project that has existed for twenty years and yet no solution had been found. The work is highly demanded by neighbors and of great concern to this Cabildo, especially due to the issue of safety" . "In 2003 the report was carried out in La Geria, but was never executed, and yet it is a busy road. Congratulations to the entire technical team for a great job in keeping within the landscape, blending with its location,” said Dolores Corujo.
